DARKEST DAYS is an adventure survival game for players who enjoy open-world exploration, shooting, and managing a community in a post-apocalyptic setting. The game presents a connected world with different environments to explore, from the deserted town of Sand Creek to snowy islands and wider settlements. Zombies do not all behave in the same way, so staying alert matters during encounters. Use accurate shots, explosives, and other available weapons to handle individual enemies or larger groups. Vehicles add another way to travel and can also help you push through zombie hordes.
Build a Shelter and Gather Survivors
Survival is not limited to combat. You can establish a shelter, recruit people who have lived through the outbreak, and develop facilities for your growing community. Residents can support shelter production and join you during exploration or battles. Choosing how to strengthen your base gives the game a management element alongside its action-focused missions.
Single-Player and Multiplayer Activities
Alongside the main survival journey, DARKEST DAYS includes multiplayer activities. Work with other players against repeated zombie attacks or take on giant mutant zombies for rewards. Competitive areas provide a different challenge, letting players fight over valuable resources rather than relying only on cooperation.
